Rodriquez Liver Foundation (ADRLF) presented a Special Advance Screening of MAKING THE BOYS, directed by Crayton Robey at Pines 69 Benefit Gala in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Stonewall hosted by Emmy Award winner Carson Kressley and Tony Award winner Sara Ramirez on Saturday, May 30, 2009, 5:30 PM at the Brandon Fradd Theater, Whyte Hall, Fire Island Pines. A Silent Auction featuring work by surrealist artist ALVARO and spa package by d'mai urban preceded the film. Pines 69 Gala reception immediately followed with a superb performance by actress Harriett D. Foy, ADRLF board member singing Dinah Washington's Grammy Award winning tune (1959) and Esther Phillips greatest disco remix (1975) "What a Difference a Day Makes." |
