The Derby City Film Festival is excited to announce the following sponsor partnerships for the 4th Annual Edition which will take place February 17th-19th at the Clifton Center in Louisville Kentucky:
Attendees who bring a packaged food item to the box office when they purchase their ticket or pass will receive $1.00 off admission price. All food items will be donated to Kentucky Harvest.
Kentucky Harvest was founded 25 years ago and has distributed nearly 50,000,000 pounds of food to agencies and missions that feed the hungry. The food distributed has benefitted agencies and missions by reducing the costs for purchasing food and allowing them to increase their services to the homeless and hungry. In 2009 the New Kingston Film Festival had 36 film submissions, and 8 films ended up in the program. (https://sites.google.com/site/nkff2009/nkff-2009-program) In 2008, the NKFF had 18 film submissions and 13 films ended up in the program. Your chances of being selected are greater when you submit to smaller boutique festivals like the charming New Kingston film festival in the beautiful Catskills mountains two and a half hours northwest of New York City.

In all 20 films from Kentucky filmmakers and 10 from
Indiana & Ohio will be screened during the festival, which takes
place February 18th through the 20th at the Clifton Center. Two more
films are from filmmakers with ties to Kentucky, both documentaries.
